The name Dark Bridge Records, its logo and its visual identity are trademarks of Dark Bridge Records. They may not be used without written permission — including any use that would suggest association with us or endorsement by us.

The text, design, illustration and code of this site are protected by copyright. You may read it, link to it and quote it with attribution. Republishing it in full or using it commercially without permission is not permitted.
Recordings and compositions
Two distinct sets of rights apply to recorded music, and the difference matters:
- Authors' rights belong to the writers — composer and lyricist. In Lithuania they are administered collectively by LATGA.
- Neighbouring rights belong to the performers and the phonogram producer, and are administered by AGATA.
Which means one use of one recording can involve several rightsholders at once.
Commissioned work
When you commission music, the contract states the licence scope explicitly: which project, which territory, for how long, and in which channels. It is scope, rather than hours worked, that usually determines the price. In audio branding projects the rights are normally assigned to the client.
