Deezer reports receiving roughly 75,000 AI-generated tracks per day. In June 2026 such uploads exceeded half of all new music for the first time, at a monthly average of about 90,000 tracks.
Deezer became the first platform to explicitly tag AI-generated music in June 2025. In its own survey, 80% of respondents agreed fully AI-generated music should be clearly labelled, and 52% felt such songs should not appear in the main charts alongside human-made ones.
What it means. The catalogue is growing faster than listener attention. That is not an AI problem — it is a discovery problem, and it touches everyone releasing a record this year.
